Cubs win 8-6 over White Sox

The Chicago Cubs beat their crosstown rivals today and ended the Chicago White Sox longest win streak since 1961. Tyler Colvin led the Cubs offensively with a 3-run home run in the 3rd inning and a run in the 8th. The cubs also got quality pitching out of Ryan Dempster, who is now 6-6 with a 3.58 ERA. John Danks had trouble with his command all day and ended up with the loss. His record is now 7-5 with a 3.62 ERA
